Modes of Writing
	Writing can take many different forms or modes.  When teachers make a writing assignment, they usually give the form that the writing should take. Each form or mode of writing has a specific purpose. They should also specify an audience for the writing. If the teacher does not specify an audience, write for the teacher.   When completing a writing assignment students must always keep the purpose and the audience they are writing for in mind.   The main modes of writing are: Creative Writing Descriptive Writing Narrative Writing Expository Writing Persuasive Writing
