After many years, he finally made it back to his home village only to find out that everyone had died from disease. The Pilgrims settle on the land of Squanto's former village and are amazed when they meet Squanto and realize he speaks their language. This book is a must read for every Thanksgiving. Rachel and Sarah highly recommend this book. (Note to public school teachers -- This book is written from a Christian perspective, so may not be appropriate for public schools. A more secular version of the story is available by Joseph Bruchac.)

This book is Sarah's favorite Thanksgiving story. It is laugh out loud funny. You will not believe what happens to the Tappleton's Thanksgiving dinner! The Tappleton's learn the true meaning of Thanksgiving in this classic story. One of Sarah's favorite books.
