Nuts. Book Nut's Mom is the mother of two daughters, one in sixth grade,
the other in second grade. She is also a K-8 school librarian at a small
Christian school. She is an avid reader of children's literature and monitors
all posts to this website, including guest book posts. Any objectionable
posts or posts containing a child's full name, location, or email address will
not be posted.
The original Book Nuts are now in sixth grade. We started the book club
the summer the girls were going into the third grade to encourage the girls to
get their summer reading done and to show the girls how fun reading and
discussing good books can be. Another group of Book Nuts have recently
started to meet. This group is in second grade so you will find
recommendations for preschoolers to young adults on our pages.
The Book Nuts have been featured on the Book Muse website,
Yahooligans,and Online Schoolyard, as well as in the local parent's
magazine in their home city.
