The group biome project will require students to research a particular terrestrial biome, present their findings in an oral presentation, and the development of a
tabletop display featuring key information discovered about the biome during the research process. Your display should include the following information on your biome.

| Suggestions for Research Work Process | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1. Use the WebQuest as a Guide -- divide the work between the group members by roles. 2. Begin by researching the climate, rainfall, and location of your biome. 3. Begin to research animal and plant life in your biome using the green paper for plant information and the yellow paper for animal information. 4. Write up the pollution or other hazards to the environment of the biome on red paper. 5. Don't forget to include a food chain or food web after you complete your animal and plant research. 6. Draw and color a large background mural of your biome. If you have realistic stuffed animals from the biome, you may include them in your display. When appropriate, you may include living science animals in your biome display. |
