Our Friend, Martin
Using a combination of animation and real video footage, this video shares the life of Dr. Martin Luther King through the eyes of two time-traveling youths. Featuring the voices of Whoopie Goldberg and James Earl Jones, this movie is a great way to share Dr. King's legacy with the children of today. It does depict the violence of the times and may not be appropriate for very young or sensitive children. The animated format makes the movie interesting for children, but it is still enjoyable and educational for adults. Highly recommended by The Book Nuts.
