Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great by Judy Blume
This is a very funny book about Sheila's summer vacation in Tarrytown. Sheila appears to be on top of everything. On the outside, she is witty, outgoing and capable of doing anything. Deep down inside, however, Sheila is afraid of the water, the dark, spiders and dogs. To make matters worse, Sheila's new best friend, Mouse Ellis can swim like a fish and loves dogs. Socks by Beverly Cleary
Socks had it made. A cat couldn't ask for anything more. The Brickers played with him, fed him well and there was always a nice warm lap for him to lay down in and purr himself to sleep. The Brickers' home was almost cat heaven. That is it was cat heaven until they brought home the BABY! Poor Socks! This book is sure to have you laughing out loud. Recommended by Stephanie.
