Classic Books
Classics are books which have been around along time.  Many of these
books are books the Book Nuts' grandmothers might have read when
they were little girls.  Others might have been read by their moms when
they were  growing up.  Classics are stories which never grow old.  You
can read them again and again and never get tired of them.  Try one

Betsy-Tacy
by Maud Hart Lovelace

Betsy has no little girls to play with until Tacy moves into the house
across the street.  Betsy and Tacy soon become such good friends
that they are referred to as Betsy-Tacy, just as if they were one
person.  I loved this book, because my mom read it to me when I was 4
years old and my birthday was coming up in April.  Guess what!  Besty
was also 4 and had a birthday in April.  I just read it again by myself
and I still like it!  Recommended by Rachel

Book Nut's Mom notes:
Betsy-Tacy is the first of a series of books that
follow Betsy as she grows up.  The other titles in the series are:

The books progress in difficulty and length as Betsy gets older.
